At this year’s Nuclear Expo, Sansec exhibited its full range of commercial cryptography products and security solutions for the nuclear power industry, meeting security needs across “cloud-network-edge-terminal” domains and providing secure, compliant, independently controllable, and systematic cryptographic security protection for critical information infrastructure and important information systems in the nuclear power sector.

Keynote Speech

On the afternoon of the 12th, Yang Yang, Technical Director of Sansec’s East China Region, delivered a keynote speech titled “Fully Domestic Chip-Based SM Cryptography Empowering Endogenous Security for Nuclear Power Infrastructure” at the “Nuclear Energy Debut Stage.” He pointed out that, as national critical information infrastructure, the application of commercial cryptography in nuclear power has shifted from an “optional choice” to a “mandatory requirement.” The current infrastructure of nuclear power control systems faces challenges such as complex system architectures and diverse equipment forms, making it urgent to establish an endogenous security active defense system based on cryptographic technology. For the industrial control system infrastructure of nuclear power plants, Sansec builds a cryptographic security system based entirely on domestically produced chips to meet the relevant requirements of identity authentication, communication confidentiality and integrity, storage confidentiality and integrity, and key management for nuclear power control systems. This provides technical support and assurance for the safe and stable operation of nuclear power plants and serves as a demonstration and guiding example for the application and research of commercial cryptographic technology in key business systems of China’s power generation enterprises.

On the morning of the 13th, Zhang Chi, Technical Director of Sansec’s South China Region, was invited to an in-depth interview with the official media of the conference. Centered on the theme of “Building a Solid Security Defense Line for the High-Quality Development of Nuclear Power Based on Cryptography,” he elaborated on the company’s technical advantages and strategic layout. Leveraging three core advantages—leading product technologies, extensive industry experience, and comprehensive scenario coverage—Sansec has accumulated more than 100 delivery cases in the power industry, covering key organizations such as State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, and CGN. Looking ahead to future technological development, Sansec has already conducted forward-looking research and planning in the field of post-quantum cryptography to address the potential threats posed by quantum computing to traditional cryptographic systems. At the same time, it is integrating cryptographic technology with artificial intelligence, releasing the White Paper on Cryptographic Applications for Large Model Security, and launching an open-source cryptographic enhancement toolkit for large models as well as a “Cryptography+” AI all-in-one machine to help users build a cryptography-enhanced AI foundation.
