As a national strategic high-tech industry, nuclear energy is an important component in ensuring energy security, a key support for achieving the “dual carbon” goals, and an engine driving the upgrading of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Over the past 70 years, China’s nuclear industry has achieved glorious accomplishments represented by the “two bombs and one submarine” and leapfrog development in nuclear energy technology, becoming an important cornerstone for safeguarding national sovereignty, enhancing comprehensive national strength, and strengthening international discourse power.
The China Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Conference and Shenzhen International Nuclear Energy Industry Innovation Expo (referred to as the “Shenzhen Nuclear Expo”) serves as a mission-driven platform for promoting the national nuclear industry strategy, building industry consensus, and facilitating technological innovation, and it has strong influence both domestically and globally.
