Formal Statement Regarding the Unauthorized Use of the "Shenzhen Nuclear Expo" Name

To all leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, industry practitioners, and relevant institutions in the national nuclear industry:

Recently, the Organizing Committee has received repeated reports from industry entities regarding individuals from Shanghai and Shandong who are soliciting business for exhibitions while falsely claiming to represent the "Shenzhen Nuclear Expo." Such actions seriously infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of the Shenzhen Nuclear Expo and disrupt the orderly conduct of nuclear industry exhibitions. To clarify the facts and mitigate risks, the Organizing Committee hereby issues this formal statement:

I. The Shenzhen Nuclear Expo is jointly hosted by over 200 core entities across the national nuclear industry chain—including the China Energy Research Society, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), China Huaneng Group, State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), China Datang Corporation, and China Energy Investment Corporation. All host organizations have issued valid, authoritative documentation confirming their sponsorship. For six years, the Shenzhen Nuclear Expo has operated under the guidance and support of national nuclear industry authorities and has earned widespread recognition across the sector; it is acknowledged industry-wide as the world’s largest and most influential annual event in the nuclear energy industry.

II. As of the date of this statement, the Organizing Committee conducts business operations exclusively through teams based in Beijing and Shenzhen. We have never authorized any organization, entity, or individual in Shanghai, Shandong, or other regions to engage in business solicitation, invitations, fee collection, or any other activities under the name of the "Shenzhen Nuclear Expo." Furthermore, the Shenzhen Nuclear Expo is an annual event held exclusively in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province; we have never planned or announced any satellite exhibitions, touring exhibitions, or similar events outside of Shenzhen, nor are there any such preparations underway.

III. We urge all relevant entities and practitioners in the nuclear industry to remain vigilant against risks. Please verify all partnership information through the official Shenzhen Nuclear Expo website (www.cinie.net) to avoid financial loss resulting from fraudulent activities. The Shenzhen Nuclear Expo Organizing Committee and its host organizations bear no responsibility for any losses, legal disputes, or legal liabilities incurred by entities or individuals who place their trust in the aforementioned illegal activities carried out by parties falsely claiming to represent the Shenzhen Nuclear Expo. IV. In response to the aforementioned infringing and unlawful acts involving the unauthorized use of the "Shenzhen Nuclear Expo" name, our Organizing Committee’s legal department has initiated the process of securing evidence. We will take all necessary legal measures—in accordance with the *Civil Code of the People's Republic of China*, the *Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China*, and other relevant laws and regulations—to resolutely hold the infringing parties fully legally accountable.

V. The Organizing Committee is establishing a special reward: a sum of RMB 50,000 will be awarded to any individual who provides valid evidence—such as audio recordings or written documentation—that is accepted and directly substantiates the aforementioned unauthorized use of our name.
