Czech industrial valve manufacturer MSA expands into the full nuclear energy supply chain

Czech industrial valve manufacturer MSA is actively expanding its business, aiming not only to participate in the construction of the Dukovany nuclear power plant but also to enter the supply chains related to small modular reactors (SMRs) and nuclear submarine projects. The company is one of the representatives of Czech industrial valve manufacturers, with years of industry experience and technical expertise.

MSA specializes in the manufacture of industrial valves designed for the control of media such as liquids and gases. Its products have a long history and have undergone significant technological advancements. Modern industrial valves have become a highly specialized field, relying on contemporary research, innovative materials, and stringent technical and legal requirements. In particular, valves used in nuclear power plants must meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational reliability.

The company has the capability to meet these demanding conditions. MSA has already obtained certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and is currently implementing the European nuclear energy standard ISO 19443. At the same time, they are preparing for ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) certification, which will help the company export products to over a hundred countries worldwide and participate in the supply chain for KHNP's Dukovany nuclear power plant expansion project.

MSA places emphasis on production process control and has an internalized manufacturing system that enables full oversight from machining, welding, and heat treatment to final assembly and testing. They also offer customized development services, allowing for rapid design optimization and independent testing based on specific customer requirements. In addition to supplying valves to Czech nuclear power plants, MSA's products are also exported to nuclear power plants in Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, and India, and the company provides spare parts supply and refurbishment services.
