"Nuclear Levee" Intelligent Foundation Empowers Wuhan Nuclear Technology Utilization Intelligent Review System Officially Launched

Recently, the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, in collaboration with software development enterprises, leveraged its independently developed nuclear safety regulatory “Nuclear Levee” intelligent review technology foundation to address the intelligent construction needs of radiation-related construction project environmental impact assessment (EIA) review at the Wuhan Ecological Environment Safety Center. The customized development of the Wuhan Nuclear Technology Utilization Intelligent Review System was successfully completed and officially deployed.

The system carried out full-process technical research around three core directions: scenario adaptation, model iteration, and large-scale deployment. Key technical optimizations were completed for EIA business scenarios, including dedicated parameter tuning and joint model training of the “Nuclear Levee” intelligent review foundation, successfully building an intelligent review system covering the entire EIA process. The system enables core functions such as intelligent extraction of key information from EIA reports, automatic compliance verification of documents, and consistency validation of full-text content. It supports the generation of standardized review reports, significantly improving work efficiency and advancing the review process toward standardization, normalization, and intelligence.

The deployment of this system effectively realizes industry reuse and scenario expansion of intelligent review technology in the nuclear safety regulatory field, providing an excellent practical example for industry-wide intelligent transformation. In the next phase, efforts will continue to advance system iteration and optimization, broaden the scope of business applications, and gradually extend from radiation-related review services to various ecological environment assessment fields. This will deeply empower the construction of an intelligent ecological environment supervision system through artificial intelligence, laying a solid digital foundation for nuclear safety and ecological security risk prevention, control, and refined governance.
