Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. Expands Government Affairs and Uranium Advisory Capabilities to Support the U.S. Domestic Nuclear Fuel Supply Chain
On September 9, Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp., a next-generation nuclear energy company that owns one of the largest measured and indicated conventional uranium deposits in the United States, announced in Reno, Nevada, that it has engaged LSN Partners (LSN) to provide government affairs, strategic advisory, and stakeholder communications services. The company also announced the appointment of Blake·Steele (Blake Steele) as a strategic advisor.

As a government affairs consulting firm, LSN will assist Eagle in advancing its public-sector development objectives at the federal and state levels. The collaboration will focus on U.S. domestic uranium production, advanced nuclear technology, critical minerals policy, energy security, licensing and regulatory affairs, and federal funding support and procurement programs, and will assist the company in strengthening communication and coordination with relevant federal agencies and key state governments such as Oregon and Nevada.
This collaboration comes at a time when the United States continues to work toward strengthening domestic uranium production capacity and reducing dependence on foreign resources at all stages of the nuclear fuel supply chain. LSN will work closely with Eagle to develop and implement practical communication and advocacy strategies around policy, regulatory, and economic matters related to the company's long-term strategic objectives.
Mark Mukhija, Chief Executive Officer of Eagle, stated that the company is continuously committed to building an integrated nuclear energy platform that combines domestic uranium resources with advanced small modular reactor (SMR) technology. As the flagship Aurora project and broader nuclear energy initiatives advance, active participation in federal and state policy discussions affecting domestic uranium production and the future of nuclear energy is essential.
While advancing the above strategy, Eagle appointed veteran uranium and mining executive Blake Steele as an advisor. Steele previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Azarga Uranium Corp., where he successfully led the development and advancement of the company's U.S. uranium asset portfolio, which was acquired by enCore Energy Corp. in 2022. He has accumulated extensive hands-on experience in U.S. uranium project development, publicly listed company management, and capital markets operations.
Eagle's flagship Aurora uranium project is located at the border of Oregon and Nevada and is one of the largest undeveloped uranium deposits in the United States. The company is currently advancing the project toward the pre-feasibility study stage, which is planned for completion by the end of 2027. The company believes that strengthened coordination and cooperation between industry and government will play a key role as the United States expands domestic uranium production, strengthens energy security, and meets growing electricity demand.
As a next-generation nuclear energy company that combines domestic uranium exploration with small modular reactor technology, Eagle owns a portfolio of high-quality uranium assets located in southeastern Oregon. Among them, the Aurora deposit hosts 32.75 million pounds of indicated and 4.98 million pounds of inferred near-surface uranium resources, and the adjacent Cordex deposit also has significant potential to further expand the project's overall resource base. By deeply integrating advanced SMR technology with strong uranium resource assets, the company is actively building an integrated nuclear energy platform to support domestic nuclear energy development.
