The 4th China Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Conference and Shenzhen International Nuclear Energy Industry Innovation Expo (Shenzhen Nuclear Expo) opened grandly from November 12 to 14, 2025. Centered on the theme "Digital-Intelligence Driven, Innovation-Led High-Quality Development of Nuclear Energy," this year's expo aligned with the CPC Central Committee's strategic directive to develop nuclear power "actively, safely, and in an orderly manner." The event showcased the rapid acceleration of "new quality productive forces" in the nuclear sector and highlighted new heights in independent innovation in nuclear technology. Demonstrating China's formidable strength in nuclear energy on a record-breaking scale, the expo covered an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. Over 600 leading domestic and international enterprises showcased more than 50,000 cutting-edge technological achievements, making it the largest event of its kind in the history of the nuclear energy industry, both in China and globally.
Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC) showcased its latest technologies and intelligent solutions at the Shenzhen Nuclear Expo.
At the conference, DEC joined forces with key industry organizations and enterprises—including the China Energy Research Society, the China Electric Power Development Promotion Association, the Chinese Nuclear Society, CNNC, China Huaneng, SPIC, China First Heavy Industries, Harbin Electric Corporation, CGN, and Shanghai Electric—to launch the " 'AI+' Initiative for High-Quality Nuclear Energy Development." This initiative aims to build consensus and collaboratively advance the high-quality development of the nuclear energy industry.
Focusing on the latest achievements in advancing the nuclear industry through "AI Empowerment" and "AI+," DEC presented a comprehensive showcase of its major nuclear energy accomplishments, the global expansion of its nuclear power equipment, its digital-intelligent transformation, the "Dongqi Spirit," and its nuclear safety culture. These displays underscored DEC's formidable capabilities in the field of nuclear energy equipment manufacturing.
At the DEC booth, Dan Jun, Vice President of the listed company, warmly welcomed visiting dignitaries and executives, including Luo Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Department of Nuclear Facility Safety Regulation under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment; Huang Jiangjiang, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau; Shi Yubo, President of the China Energy Research Society; and leaders from CNNC, China Huaneng, SPIC, and CGN.
At the CGN Supplier Conference held concurrently with the expo, the listed company was once again honored as a "Five-Star Supplier," a distinction that fully demonstrates its robust capabilities in ensuring high-quality performance and delivery in the nuclear power sector. Relevant executives from the Nuclear Power Business Division, Dongfang Electric Machinery, Dongfang Steam Turbine, Dongfang Boiler, Dongfang Heavy Machinery, Dongfang Wuhan Nuclear, and Dongfang Framatome participated in the relevant activities.
