Scan to share From November 12 to 14, 2025, the 4th China Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Conference and Shenzhen International Nuclear Energy Industry Innovation Expo opened grandly. With the theme of “Digital Intelligence-Driven Innovation Leading the High-Quality Development of Nuclear Energy”, this year’s Shenzhen Nuclear Expo aligned with the strategic direction set by the CPC Central Committee to “actively, safely and orderly develop nuclear power”. New quality productive forces in nuclear energy accelerated across the board, while independent innovation in nuclear science and technology reached new heights. Demonstrating China’s hard power in nuclear energy with a record-breaking scale, the exhibition covered an area of 60,000 square meters and brought together more than 600 leading enterprises from China and abroad, showcasing over 50,000 cutting-edge technological achievements. It was the largest event in the history of nuclear energy in China and even the world.
Li Huagang, Vice President of Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., and Yu Jun, Vice President of Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group, were invited to attend the opening ceremony and signed the “AI+” Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Initiative on behalf of the Group.
Shanghai Electric Group comprehensively showcased its industrial chain layout and project achievements in nuclear power conventional island TG equipment, civil pressurized water reactors, and controlled nuclear fusion devices. The exhibition highlighted the Group’s digital transformation application achievements, including intelligent manufacturing of welded rotors, flexible automated production lines for blades, intelligent stator core stacking, and intelligent operation and maintenance. It fully demonstrated the Group’s technical accumulation and leadership capabilities in the field of nuclear power equipment manufacturing, underscoring its strong core capabilities.
During the exhibition, events such as the China General Nuclear Power Group Supplier Conference, the main forum of the “Digital Intelligence-Driven Innovation Leading the High-Quality Development of Nuclear Energy” conference, and the Advanced Equipment and Industrial Chain Sub-Forum were also held. With its high-quality services and strong capabilities, the Nuclear Power Group was awarded the title of China General Nuclear Power Group 2025 Four-Star Supplier. Meanwhile, China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and the Nuclear Power Group signed the Framework Procurement Agreement for Steam Turbine Generator Units of Units 5 and 6 of the Taipingling Project at the conference, marking a further expansion and deepening of cooperation between the two parties and injecting stronger momentum into their coordinated development.
