Guohe Series Nuclear Power Engineering Modular Quarterly Meeting and Construction Technology Innovation Application Exchange Conference Successfully Held in Qidong

At the meeting, the implementation of action items from the previous quarter was first reviewed, followed by progress reports on key work items including dry construction, plugging modularization, module design guidance manual, and multi-discipline shared rack design optimization. Each nuclear power project department reported on quarterly work progress and subsequent work plans in turn. Participating construction units including China Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Industry 23rd Construction Co., Ltd., and CNF conducted thematic exchanges on modular construction, automatic welding technology, implementation of innovative technologies, and the "7050" plan (70% of all plant welding joints as prefabricated joints, and 50% of all plant prefabricated joints welded by automatic welding). Departments of SNERDI and participating partner units conducted in-depth discussions, exchanging views on key challenges in nuclear power modular construction and building consensus on technical breakthroughs.
During the meeting, all attending representatives visited the Jiangsu Heneng Qidong Intelligent Manufacturing Base for on-site inspection, observing the intelligent manufacturing production line construction and gaining direct insight into the practical achievements of modular prefabrication and intelligent manufacturing processes.

The meeting fully affirmed the phased achievements made by all participating units in the field of Guohe series nuclear power modular construction. The meeting pointed out that modular construction is a key driver for improving quality and efficiency in nuclear power engineering. All units should strengthen resource coordination, intensify efforts in key technology breakthroughs, and ensure the effective transformation and implementation of technological achievements. Efforts should be continuously deepened in industrial chain collaboration, connecting the entire process of design, manufacturing, and construction, and advancing the coordinated implementation of the "7050" related plans. At the same time, safety and quality red lines must be strictly upheld, with intelligent manufacturing empowering nuclear power construction to provide solid support for the high-quality advancement of Guohe series nuclear power projects.

The meeting made arrangements for the next phase of Guohe series nuclear power modular construction and technological innovation application work. The meeting emphasized that all participating units should continue to deepen EC (Engineering-Construction) collaboration and integrated construction-installation development. New projects must firmly implement top-level modular design, fully utilizing the design guidance manual at the design level, the module manual at the construction center level, and the implementation manual during the project execution phase, breaking through conventional thinking limitations and continuously enriching and improving the modular technology system. Meanwhile, all units were required to strengthen collaborative coordination, continue advancing the "7050" special work research and modular technology iteration, ensure the implementation of technical solutions, and drive quality and efficiency improvements in nuclear power construction through innovation, fully guaranteeing the high-quality construction of Guohe series nuclear power projects.
This meeting established a cross-unit technical exchange platform, further connecting the collaborative chain of design, manufacturing, and construction, laying a solid foundation for advancing nuclear power modular construction technology and supporting the construction of Guohe series nuclear power projects.
