CNNC Engineering Wins International ISOP Award for Advanced Instrumentation and Control
On September 17, 2026, during the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the project "Plant-Wide Networked Monitoring and Diagnostic System for Critical Equipment" from the Instrumentation and Control Design Institute of the Nuclear Engineering Institute of CNNC Engineering stood out and successfully won the Third ISOP (International Network on Innovation to Support Operating Nuclear Power Plants) Innovation Award—Advanced Instrumentation and Control category, becoming the only winning project in the advanced instrumentation and control category. The achievement has been deployed and implemented at Zhangzhou Units 1 and 2 and Hainan Nuclear Power Units 3 and 4, with excellent engineering results.

This ISOP Award is a heavyweight professional award established by the International Atomic Energy Agency for the global nuclear power sector, focusing on technological innovation and application practices in five fields including advanced instrumentation and control, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and robotics applications. The award has stringent review criteria, with emphasis on technological innovation, engineering implementation practicality, operational safety benefits, and technology replicability and promotion value, reflecting the high recognition by an authoritative international organization of the continuous innovation practices of the national name card "Hualong One."
Meanwhile, the achievement has been successfully selected into the 2025 "China Energy Good Products" by the Comprehensive Department of the National Energy Administration, and was unveiled and released at the International Energy Transformation Forum, conveying China's nuclear power wisdom to the world, sharing China's nuclear power solutions, and continuously enhancing the international influence of China's nuclear power digital technology.
