Taishan Nuclear Power Launches First Batch of Independent Skill Level Certification

Recently, Taishan Nuclear Power carried out its first batch of independent vocational skill level certification, with a total of 16 individuals passing the assessment and obtaining corresponding skill level certifications. This certification marks the first batch conducted by the company after the implementation of the unified vocational skill level certification system under China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), signifying that the company's skill talent evaluation work has officially entered a new stage of standardization and systematization.

This certification covered two job categories: Vocational Trainer (Level 1) and Radiation Monitoring and Protection Worker (Levels 2 and 3). A total of 20 individuals participated, with 16 passing. The certification process strictly followed the three stages of "written examination, practical operation, and comprehensive review," assessing the participants' professional knowledge, operational skills, and work performance respectively. Participants were required to pass the previous stage before proceeding to the next, ensuring the comprehensiveness and rigor of the certification. The entire assessment process was well-organized and procedurally standardized.

Since 2024, Taishan Nuclear Power has been deeply involved in the preparatory work for the group's coordinated vocational skill level certification, with over 30 technical experts dispatched to participate. This has accumulated experience in certification qualification applications and job category development, and cultivated a professional team of supervisors, assessors, and examination staff. In 2025, following the unified deployment of CGN, Taishan Nuclear Power, as a certification branch of the group's vocational skill training and evaluation center, applied to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security for provincial evaluation accreditation qualifications for seven job categories, and successfully passed.

The successful completion of the first batch of independent vocational skill level certification has opened a new channel for the development of skilled talent at Taishan Nuclear Power. Going forward, Taishan Nuclear Power will continue to optimize the assessment process in line with CGN management requirements, regularly carry out skill level certifications for various job categories, provide better services and support for the growth and development of skilled talent, and ensure talent support for the company's high-quality development.
