Anhui Juhe Haizhi Settles in Hefei, to Release Radiation-Related Maintenance Robots
Anhui Juhe Haizhi Technology Co., Ltd., jointly established by Jianghuai Laboratory, the Institute of Energy at Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, Keda Silicon Valley, and Anhui Penggong Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., has officially settled in Hefei. The company focuses on the industrialization of embodied intelligent equipment for extreme environments, with key deployments in high-risk operational scenarios such as nuclear radiation, deep sea, and specialty chemicals.

Juhe Haizhi plans to release two embodied intelligent robots for extreme environments by the end of August 2026. Among them, the commercial fusion radiation-resistant maintenance robot is one of the key products to be released, providing unmanned intelligent maintenance solutions for nuclear radiation-related scenarios, with neutron target maintenance for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) devices being one of its core application scenarios.
During the operation of nuclear-related equipment such as BNCT devices, key components like neutron targets are exposed to intense neutron radiation environments for extended periods. Traditional maintenance methods rely on manual on-site operations, which pose radiation exposure risks while also resulting in extended downtime for inspections and repairs, impacting equipment operational efficiency. The online inspection, condition diagnosis, replacement, and defect repair of related components also impose high requirements on operational precision and equipment reliability.
According to reports, this radiation-resistant maintenance robot integrates the fusion radiation-resistant protection technology from the Institute of Energy and the micron-level high-precision embodied control capability from Jianghuai Laboratory, enabling unmanned autonomous operations under intense radiation conditions, covering maintenance processes such as online inspection of neutron targets, condition diagnosis, component replacement, and defect repair. The deployment of this product primarily targets the demand for intelligent maintenance equipment in high-radiation environments across fields such as nuclear medicine and nuclear energy.
Juhe Haizhi currently operates a 16,000-square-meter specialized R&D and production base, equipped with precision machining centers and automated intelligent production lines, forming an integrated business system of “R&D and design, intelligent manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service.” The company has carried out full-stack self-development across six core systems—extreme environment protection, high-reliability power, high-precision control, autonomous navigation, stable communication, and multimodal perception—to adapt to equipment application requirements under complex conditions such as nuclear radiation.
In addition to the radiation-resistant maintenance robot, Juhe Haizhi will also release a versatile underwater cleaning robot. This product is developed based on an underwater embodied intelligent algorithm system with hydrodynamic model feedforward, and can be used in underwater operational scenarios such as nuclear power water intake facilities, offshore wind platforms, ocean-going vessels, and urban underwater pipeline networks, featuring capabilities including underwater cleaning, desilting and scale removal, structural defect inspection, and routine autonomous maintenance.
The establishment of Juhe Haizhi and its related product releases primarily build upon Jianghuai Laboratory's accumulated expertise in underlying technology R&D for embodied robots in extreme environments, as well as the Institute of Energy's foundation in tackling the full industrial chain of controlled nuclear fusion technology and the industrialization of nuclear energy equipment. The company will subsequently advance the industrial application of intelligent maintenance equipment, focusing on nuclear radiation-related scenarios, nuclear medicine, and other extreme environment operational contexts.
