Atom High-Tech and CNNC Headway Visit Tsinghua University for Business Cooperation Exchange

On August 17, Luo Xu, General Manager of Atom High-Tech, and Liu Wen, Chairman of CNNC Headway, led a delegation to Tsinghua University for a business cooperation exchange with the School of Biomedical Engineering. Hu Ye, Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering, and Ma Kai, Associate Professor of the School, attended the exchange. The visit aimed to leverage the research and talent advantages of a top-tier university, promote deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and jointly explore new cooperation opportunities in the fields of nuclear medicine and biomedical engineering.

During the exchange meeting, Atom High-Tech and CNNC Headway respectively introduced their corporate development histories, core business layouts, and future strategic plans. Subsequently, Dean Hu Ye and Associate Professor Ma Kai respectively presented an overview of the School, current research progress, and major ongoing projects. Dean Hu Ye noted that the School has always been committed to advancing the translation of cutting-edge biomedical engineering technologies into clinical and industrial applications, and looks forward to establishing close collaborative innovation mechanisms with leading industry enterprises.

In the subsequent discussion session, both sides conducted in-depth deliberations on high-level talent cultivation and related business matters. In particular, regarding the targeted cultivation of engineering doctoral students, both parties explored the use of a university-enterprise joint training model to precisely align with industrial demands and supply the industry with high-caliber interdisciplinary talents possessing solid theoretical foundations and outstanding engineering practice capabilities. In addition, the two sides engaged in pragmatic consultations on how to combine the School of Biomedical Engineering's six key research directions with the development of the nuclear pharmaceutical industry to precisely identify cooperation opportunities.

Heads of the R&D departments and key R&D project personnel from Atom High-Tech and CNNC Headway, as well as the Cooperation Development Manager of the School of Biomedical Engineering at Tsinghua University, attended the exchange activity.
