CGN and the People's Government of Sichuan Province Sign a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On September 21, China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd. and the People's Government of Sichuan Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu. Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, held a working meeting with Yang Changli, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., and Pang Songtao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, and together witnessed the signing of the agreement.

During the meeting, the two sides, focusing on implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on Sichuan's work and the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, exchanged views on deepening strategic cooperation during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, further optimizing the investment layout in Sichuan, promoting clean energy development and construction, strengthening the high-end energy equipment manufacturing industry, advancing the construction and upgrading of key industrial chains such as nuclear medicine, actively cultivating and developing new quality productive forces, and helping Sichuan Province accelerate the building of a modern industrial system.

At the signing ceremony, Ren Jingdong, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, and Li Yilun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of the Group, signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the People's Government of Sichuan Province and China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd." on behalf of both sides. According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation in key areas such as clean energy, scientific and technological innovation, industrial chain construction and upgrading, livelihood security, and rural revitalization, promoting the growth and strengthening of CGN's various business segments in Sichuan, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results while supporting Sichuan's high-quality economic and social development.
