On the afternoon of August 4, Han Bing, Chairman of Hefei Municipal CPPCC, led a delegation to CYC Ion for research and guidance, and held a symposium. Yong Fengshan, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress; Su Xiang, Secretary-General of the Municipal CPPCC; Jiang Xin, Chairman of the Municipal Industrial Investment Group; Zhang Xiaofeng, Director of the Education, Science, Health and Sports Committee of the Municipal CPPCC; and Guo Mei, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, participated in the event. The delegation was briefed in detail on CYC Ion's industrial layout and business operations, with discussions focusing on key technological breakthroughs in nuclear medicine and high-end equipment, technology transfer and commercialization, and industrial development.

The meeting noted that a heightened sense of urgency for development should be fostered, with industrial layout planned from a long-term perspective, seizing the critical development window, accelerating the deployment and application of mature end products, and vigorously promoting the efficient transformation of research achievements. Further efforts should be made to intensify core technology development and R&D investment, leverage Hefei's quality educational and scientific resources, focus on clinical medical needs, deepen efforts in core technologies for high-end radiotherapy, advance equipment upgrades, and consolidate competitive advantages in core technologies. Market applications should be actively expanded, with coordinated efforts across industry, academia, research, and application to continuously grow the industrial market scale, drive the high-quality development of nuclear fusion-derived medical device industry through independent innovation, and safeguard the health of the people.
