PowerChina Jiangsu Equipment Company's First Nuclear Power "Three Wastes" Project Officially Launched

On July 23, the kick-off meeting for PowerChina Jiangsu Equipment Company's first nuclear power "Three Wastes" new product project was successfully held at the company's headquarters. Client representatives from China General Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Taishan No. 2 Nuclear Power, and Fangchenggang Nuclear Power jointly attended the meeting, marking the project's official entry into the full implementation stage. The meeting had clear objectives and was efficient and pragmatic. A flag-awarding ceremony for the "E-P Joint Task Force" was held on site, formally establishing an integrated collaborative working mechanism covering the entire chain of design, procurement, and manufacturing. During the meeting, client representatives provided systematic briefings on core project concerns, key technical disclosures, and lessons learned from similar projects; the company delivered special reports on project preparation, preliminary risk identification, and subsequent implementation plans. Both parties conducted thorough communication and reached consensus on core topics such as quality assurance requirements, implementation of nuclear safety culture, and integrity compliance standards, jointly signing the meeting minutes on site.
