China Nuclear Power Industrial Internet Platform Optimization Project Passes Technical Acceptance

On August 18, China Nuclear Power organized the technical acceptance of the centralized R&D project "Optimization, Expansion, and Application Deepening Research of the Nuclear Power Industrial Internet Platform" in Wuhan. The expert panel reviewed the project team's report on the completion of project objectives, research content, technical indicators, and expected outcomes, examined the documentation, and after inquiry and discussion, unanimously agreed that the project has comprehensive research content, met technical indicators, achieved outstanding innovation results, demonstrated good pilot application effects, and maintained complete and standardized documentation, approving the technical acceptance.

The Nuclear Power Industrial Internet Platform (DHP) serves as the solid group-level foundation for China Nuclear Power's digital development, undertaking the core mission of coordinating data element circulation across multiple bases and reactor types and supporting the construction of smart power plants across the entire group. In response to industry pain points such as data silos, inconsistent standards, lengthy application development cycles, and redundant digital construction across bases, this project focuses on platform architecture iteration, capability expansion, and application deepening, connecting the full chain of nuclear power elements and data, building an autonomous and controllable digital infrastructure for nuclear power, safeguarding the safe and stable operation of units, and empowering the digital transformation of the industry.

The project utilized cloud-edge collaboration, big data, artificial intelligence, digital twin, and other technologies to complete platform upgrades, establishing a technical system of "unified foundation + model empowerment + scenario incubation," connecting the entire chain from data collection to business applications, achieving "one-time aggregation, cross-domain reuse" of data, shortening the development cycle of industrial APPs, avoiding redundant construction, and consolidating the autonomous initiative in nuclear power digital technology. Currently, the platform has been deployed and operated on all in-service units of China Nuclear Power, meeting the conditions for group-scale promotion, and holds significant demonstration value for domestic nuclear power digital construction.

The successful passage of this project through acceptance is a landmark achievement of China Nuclear Power in promoting the deep integration of digital technology with the nuclear power core business and cultivating new quality productive forces. The team will continue to iteratively upgrade the platform, expand application scenarios, promote standardized solutions, cultivate digital talent, unleash the empowering value of the foundation, support the safe, green, and high-quality development of nuclear power through independent innovation, and inject momentum into the intelligent upgrading of domestic nuclear power.
