On August 4, He Liuyi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operations and Management Co., Ltd., along with Directors Wu Zijian, Cao Dongqing, and Huang Yong, visited the Qingdao base of CGN Nuclear Maintenance for investigation. Ouyang Wu, Member of the Party Committee, Chief Accountant, and Secretary to the Board of Directors of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operations and Management Co., Ltd., Li Xiaowei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, and Ma Gang, Director of Guangdong Nuclear Power Joint Venture Co., Ltd., accompanied the visit. Dong Juncheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Dong Juncheng provided a detailed introduction to the company's products and services, mission and honors, Party building, industrial layout, core nuclear power maintenance technologies, achievements in building the national nuclear emergency response team, and the more than thirty years of in-depth cooperation with Daya Bay Nuclear Power. The meeting conducted in-depth discussions on team standardization, full-process management and control of high-risk operations, cultivation of young skilled talents, and enhancement of nuclear emergency practical response capabilities.

He Liuyi fully affirmed CGN Nuclear Maintenance's outstanding professional contract performance capabilities, contributions to operation and maintenance support, and continuously improving scientific research and technological development capabilities. He pointed out that Daya Bay Nuclear Power and CGN Nuclear Maintenance share the same roots, both having grown and thrived on the fertile soil of Daya Bay, jointly shouldering the glorious mission of safeguarding nuclear safety. Going forward, both parties should continue to deepen cooperation in four major areas: joint cultivation of talents, linkage of nuclear emergency response inside and outside the plant, development of intelligent maintenance tools, and full lifecycle operation and maintenance support for units; at the same time, share training resources, enhance the utilization rate of training facilities, and promote interconnection and interoperability between the two parties' training systems; adhere to management simplification, especially in reducing the management burden at the operational level to ease the load on frontline staff, actively benchmark against advanced industry management experience, and work together to promote the intelligent upgrade of nuclear power maintenance.

Li Xiaowei fully affirmed the innovative achievements of CGN Nuclear Maintenance in the field of AI+ intelligent maintenance. He pointed out that CGN Nuclear Maintenance has accumulated solid results in advanced tools and equipment with good potential for promotion and application, hoping that CGN Nuclear Maintenance would recommend excellent industry tools and equipment to the Daya Bay base to continuously enhance the base's operation and maintenance support capabilities. He also encouraged CGN Nuclear Maintenance to plan ahead and prepare meticulously for the overlapping overhaul during the Spring Festival next year.

Dong Juncheng extended a warm welcome to He Liuyi and his delegation. He pointed out that Daya Bay Nuclear Power and CGN Nuclear Maintenance share the same goals, having resonated at the same frequency for over thirty years, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of both parties. CGN Nuclear Maintenance will strictly implement the sixteen-character cooperation policy of "Party building leadership, complementary advantages, resource sharing, and common development," adhere to the principle of "great truth is simple," continue to deepen Party building co-construction, accelerate the on-site transformation and application of digital intelligent maintenance technologies, and reserve professional strength in advance for medium and long-term overhaul and renovation of Ling'ao and Daya Bay units. He emphasized that a maintenance iron army that is reliable and capable of winning must be forged with a high sense of responsibility to jointly build a solid defense line for nuclear safety.

During the visit, He Liuyi and the Board Directors toured the China Nuclear Emergency Rescue Team's operational skills training base, technology center, and training center, gaining a detailed understanding of the nuclear emergency equipment configuration, digital maintenance platform, and the achievements in building the practical training system.
