Thor Medical Advances AlphaOne Commercial Production in H1, Completes First Customer Deliveries of Lead-212 Isotope

Thor Medical CEO Jasper Kurth said that with the completion of the first customer product deliveries from AlphaOne, the company has established a solid commercial foundation in a rapidly growing market, and the next step is to advance the execution plan around capacity expansion, customer deliveries, and revenue growth to support the development of next-generation precision cancer therapies.
In H1 2026, Thor Medical continued to sell thorium-228 (Th-228), radium-224 (Ra-224), and lead-212 (Pb-212) isotopes from its pilot facility, generating initial revenue. The company stated that these isotope products are primarily targeting the growing demand in the radiopharmaceutical sector.
On the commercial partnership front, Thor Medical has signed a collaboration and supply agreement with Eckert & Ziegler, a supplier of isotope-related components, equipment, and services, to advance Pb-212 supply for the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, the company has entered into a collaboration and supply agreement with Minerva Imaging, a Nordic CRO/CDMO, with a focus on supporting Pb-212 supply in Europe. During the reporting period and thereafter, the company completed initial shipments to Minerva Imaging, Node Pharma, and other Pb-212 customers, and completed the first commercial customer delivery from AlphaOne as planned.
Thor Medical stated that it currently holds Th-228 supply agreements totaling approximately NOK 850 million, providing support for near- to medium-term production needs. With the advancement of new customer and partner agreements, as well as the expansion of its product supply portfolio, the company's commercial footprint across the radiopharmaceutical value chain continues to broaden.
On the financial side, the company stated that its H1 financial results and cash flow primarily reflect the completion and commissioning of the AlphaOne project, as well as the accumulation of raw material inventory to support the ramp-up of commercial production. As of the end of the period, Thor Medical held cash and cash equivalents of NOK 59.9 million, along with NOK 40 million in undrawn committed credit facilities.
Looking ahead, Thor Medical expects AlphaOne output and customer deliveries to gradually increase as commercialization progresses. The company expects EBITDA to remain negative in 2026 and plans to achieve EBITDA breakeven in 2027 as production volumes grow. According to the company's disclosure, AlphaOne features a scalable design and is expected to reach a production capacity of approximately 21,000 patient dose equivalents within three years, corresponding to an annual revenue potential of approximately NOK 350 million.
Thor Medical stated that its production platform can support centralized industrial manufacturing in the future, as well as decentralized production closer to the market depending on customer and end-market demand, thereby maintaining flexibility in capacity expansion and capital deployment. The company's product portfolio includes Pb-212 and its precursor isotopes Th-228 and Ra-224, with production processes based on naturally occurring thorium, requiring no irradiation or nuclear reactors.
