Radiology Partners to Acquire Everlight, Expanding International Teleradiology Services
U.S. radiology services provider Radiology Partners has agreed to acquire Everlight Radiology, planning to expand its teleradiology diagnostic services into markets including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Founded in 2006, Everlight employs a "follow-the-sun" teleradiology service model, leveraging radiologists across different time zones to provide continuous imaging diagnostic coverage. The company currently has over 800 radiologists, operates in more than 40 countries, and completes over 2.5 million imaging examination reports annually for more than 340 client institutions.
Radiology Partners is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and serves more than 3,400 hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the United States. Its RP Clinical Services business includes teleradiology provider vRad, which has over 500 board-certified radiologists.
Upon completion of the transaction, Everlight and vRad will continue to serve their existing markets and clients. The two companies stated that radiologists will only interpret imaging studies in regions where they hold active licenses and credentials, and both parties plan to share technology and clinical standards.
Radiology Partners also plans to make its Mosaic Drafting technology available to Everlight radiologists, subject to regulatory approvals in each market. This tool utilizes artificial intelligence models to assist in analyzing medical imaging examinations and generating report drafts for radiologists to review and sign.
The parties announced on August 25 that they had signed a definitive agreement. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and the deal remains subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
The acquisition comes amid growing demand for imaging examinations and radiologist workforce shortages across multiple national healthcare systems. Radiology Partners cited data from the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK, noting that CT and MRI demand grew by 9% in 2024-2025, while the radiologist workforce grew by 4.7% over the same period.
Following the transaction, Everlight's existing management team will remain in place. Since 2021, Everlight has been majority-owned by UK private equity firm Livingbridge.
