Recently, Hangzhou Puxi Guangjing Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Puxi Guangjing”), an enterprise specializing in extreme-environment specialty power chips and systems, completed a C round financing of several hundred million yuan. New investors include Zhejiang Jiahe Changyue, Chengdu Innovation Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (Chengdu Sci-Tech Innovation Investment), Shanghai Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Industry Investment Fund, Shandong Caijin-affiliated Funds, Guizhou Guochuang, and other 10 state-owned and industrial capital institutions.

It is understood that the funds will be directed toward three areas: in terms of technology R&D, for the iteration of fourth-generation semiconductor gallium oxide chips, as well as the verification and development of “SiC + gallium oxide” hybrid power modules; in terms of capacity expansion, for the expansion of 230°C-class high-temperature chip module production capacity and the standardization of production lines; in terms of business development, for the R&D of high-temperature robot joints, pre-research on space computing power and controllable nuclear fusion power supplies, and the R&D of power conversion systems for AI computing power centers.

Puxi Guangjing was founded in 2020. In 2025, the company's revenue has reached 230 million yuan, making it one of the few profitable enterprises in the sector. In terms of the team, Puxi Guangjing was co-founded by four classmates from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, Class of 1998. Founder and CEO Xu Yili holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University and is a leading talent in science and technology entrepreneurship under the Central Organization Department's "Ten Thousand Talents Program," responsible for the company's overall strategy and technology direction. CTO Yang Qi worked at Schlumberger for 15 years, long engaged in downhole ultra-high-temperature system design, and has experience in R&D of electronic systems for extreme environments. CMO Li Xin previously worked in China's electronics system, long responsible for high-end electronic equipment sales and marketing, and has accumulated customer resources in fields such as energy and aerospace.

After the C round, Puxi Guangjing's business will continue to expand, conducting research on fourth-generation semiconductor chips, achieving mass shipment of “SiC + gallium oxide” hybrid power module products, and becoming the first company in the industry to span third-generation and fourth-generation semiconductors; at the same time, it will carry out frontier research on AI computing power center computing-power coordination business, space computing power energy OS, and solid-state fusion power supplies.
