CFHI and China Huaneng Hold Talks on Cooperation in Nuclear Power Equipment and Other Fields

On September 7, Lv Zhiqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CFHI, together with Quan Huaqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and General Manager, visited Bai Yong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Huaneng, for discussions on further deepening cooperation. Zhang Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of CFHI, Hao Jinyu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of China Huaneng, and Li Qizhao, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Huaneng, attended the talks. Lv Zhiqiang expressed gratitude to China Huaneng for its long-standing care and support for CFHI, and briefed on the company's reform and development as well as the 15th Five-Year Plan. He stated that China Huaneng is an important partner of CFHI, having been deeply engaged in the development of China's power industry for many years and continuously leading the progress of the power generation sector. Coinciding with the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, he expressed hope that both sides would focus on fields such as nuclear power equipment, wind power, high-end materials, and scientific research and development, continuously expanding the boundaries of cooperation, innovating cooperation models, and jointly serving the national energy strategy while demonstrating the responsibility of central state-owned enterprises.

CFHI Dalian Nuclear Power Evaporator Clean Room Project Advances Preliminary Preparations

Recently, preliminary preparations are advancing for the clean room project under the evaporator batch manufacturing capacity building initiative of CFHI Dalian Nuclear Power & Petrochemical. Located in the Dalian Bay coastal equipment manufacturing cluster, the project will improve the clean operating conditions for nuclear power evaporator production and address the shortcomings in supporting processes for batch manufacturing. The project has a total investment of 18.81 million yuan, covering an area of approximately 2,600 square meters, with a new building area of approximately 2,600 square meters. The construction centers on the evaporator tube bundle assembly clean room, supplemented by installation workstations, channel head storage areas, packaging transport track systems, and air purification systems. Since the project launch, relevant departments in Dalian Bay have been providing service support for preliminary work including land planning, engineering scheme preparation, and approval coordination, while liaising with municipal and district-level industry authorities to resolve bottlenecks in project advancement and improve the efficiency of preliminary preparations.

CFHI and Shanghai Electric Hold Talks to Advance Cooperation in Nuclear Power Equipment and Other Fields

On August 17, Lu Zhiqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China First Heavy Industries (CFHI), met with Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, and his delegation at CFHI. CFHI and CGN Hold Exchange Meeting to Jointly Tackle HPR1000 2.0 Demonstration Project

On August 6, China First Heavy Industries (CFHI) and China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) held an exchange meeting at CFHI's nuclear power and petrochemical equipment manufacturing base. Leaders from both sides, including Lu Zhiqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CFHI, and Pang Songtao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CGN, attended the meeting. The two sides reviewed and summarized two decades of cooperation achievements, jointly mapped out a blueprint for coordinated development across the entire industrial chain, and presented flags to the joint Party member task force for the HPR1000 2.0 demonstration project. Zhang Wenping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of CFHI, presided over the meeting. As two central state-owned enterprises serving the national energy power strategy, the two sides have built a solid collaboration system in multiple fields since undertaking the first domestically produced Hongyanhe million-kilowatt-class reactor pressure vessel in 2006, including nuclear island main equipment, special forgings, nuclear three-waste treatment equipment, and complete wind turbines, jointly breaking the overseas monopoly on large nuclear power forgings, supporting the localization breakthrough and batch commissioning of the HPR1000, and jointly consolidating the foundation for the safe development of China's nuclear power industry.
