Germany's Hesse to Build National Laser Fusion Center, Plans Commercial Laser Fusion Power Plant at Biblis
The German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Aerospace (BMFTR) announced on July 29 that Hesse will become the site of Germany's National Laser Fusion Center. The center is one of three national fusion capability centers established under Germany's Fusion 2040 program and the High-Tech Agenda, aiming to promote the coordinated development of fusion research, industry, and infrastructure.
