CNNC 272 Uranium Industry and Fuqing Nuclear Power Sign Partnership Agreement to Enhance Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management
On July 24, Song Lin, Party Secretary and Chairman of Fuqing Nuclear Power, led a delegation to CNNC 272 Uranium Industry for a fact-finding visit and exchange. The visit included a symposium on safety and environmental protection and the signing of a "pairing" agreement focused on safety, quality, and environmental protection. Wang Chao, Party Secretary and Director of CNNC 272 Uranium Industry, presided over the meeting.

The Fuqing Nuclear Power delegation toured the isotope laboratory, the scientific and technological innovation base, the uranium conversion production line, and the tailings repository, gaining in-depth insight into CNNC 272 Uranium Industry’s core operations, on-site management, and strategic development direction.
At the symposium, CNNC 272 Uranium Industry expressed gratitude for the substantial support Fuqing Nuclear Power has provided over the years. The two parties comprehensively reviewed the achievements of their three-year pairing partnership, discussed key challenges, shared best practices and case studies, and explored specific initiatives—such as integrating Party building with safety management, nuclear safety responsibility systems, quality assurance frameworks, normalized Level-1 standardized safety production operations, and the adoption of excellence performance management models. They reached a consensus on the next steps and renewed the pairing agreement on enhancing safety, quality, and environmental management on-site, thereby deepening their collaborative partnership and jointly fortifying the defenses for safety and environmental protection.
Heads of relevant units and departments from both Fuqing Nuclear Power and CNNC 272 Uranium Industry attended the meeting.
