CGN Dasheng Joins Hands with Zhejiang Jiaguangshu to Build China's First Fully Self-Developed Electron Beam Curing Coil Steel Coating Industry Chain

On August 5, CGN Dasheng Accelerator Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on electron beam curing coil steel coating with Zhejiang Jiaguangshu New Material Technology Co., Ltd. Leveraging the electron accelerator equipment independently developed and manufactured by CGN Dasheng, combined with the partner's large-scale mass production process capabilities, the two parties jointly built the first fully self-controllable, fully domestically produced complete industry chain for electron beam curing coil steel coating in China, marking the official entry of China's color coating industry into a new era of solvent-free, zero VOC (volatile organic compounds), and room-temperature green curing.

Electron beam curing is a revolutionary new technology for metal coil coating. Compared with traditional high-temperature baking processes, it offers significant advantages including zero VOC emissions, ultra-low energy consumption, millisecond-level curing, and superior coating performance. For a long time, China's color coating industry has relied on thermal curing processes, with prominent pain points such as high energy consumption, high pollution, and large production line footprints; ultra-thin aluminum coils and high-end stainless steel coating scenarios have long been constrained by challenges such as high-temperature deformation and easy aging and fading of coatings, restricting the quality upgrading of downstream industries including new energy, high-end home appliances, and green buildings.

This cooperation leverages the equipment R&D strength of central state-owned enterprises, bridging the long-standing industry gap of "mature laboratory technology but hindered industrial application," and establishing a brand-new industrial ecosystem of "central enterprises manufacturing core equipment, private enterprises expanding mass production applications, fully domestically developed systems, and nationwide replication and promotion," completely breaking through overseas technology monopolies and traditional process constraints.

In the next step, the two parties will continue to deepen multi-level industrial collaboration, jointly establish a joint process laboratory, jointly tackle core processes for domestically produced electron beam curing coil coating, jointly expand high-end application markets in new energy, and jointly participate in the formulation of industry standards, accelerating the replacement of traditional high-energy-consumption thermal curing production lines with electron beam curing technology.
