CNNC Delegation Visits Chen Dexin, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals

On August 7, Shen Yanfeng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CNNC, led a delegation to China Minmetals Corporation to meet with Chen Dexin, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Minmetals, where both parties exchanged views on further strengthening strategic cooperation. Wang Jiezhi, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of China Minmetals, Wang Xingquan, Party Member and Vice President, Liu Jianping, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of CNNC, and Chen Junli, Party Member and Vice President, attended the meeting.

Chen Dexin welcomed the visit of Shen Yanfeng and his delegation, and introduced the business segments of China Minmetals. He stated that since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between China Minmetals and CNNC, fruitful cooperation results have been achieved in multiple fields, including uranium resource development, overseas nuclear power construction, and scientific research project breakthroughs. He expressed the hope to further consolidate the existing cooperation foundation, steadily and efficiently advance the joint development of key mineral projects, and deepen cooperation in fields such as key materials. China Minmetals will, as always, provide CNNC with high-quality supply chain and financial services support, achieving mutual benefit and common development.

Shen Yanfeng expressed gratitude to China Minmetals for its long-standing care and support for CNNC's industrial development, and introduced CNNC's business and development status. He stated that China Minmetals has a profound heritage and is an important strategic partner of CNNC, with remarkable cooperation results between the two sides. He expressed the hope that both parties will continue to leverage their respective advantages, expand cooperation in areas such as new energy green power direct connection, ultra-carbon technology cooperation in mining and metallurgy, and digital and intelligent applications, and take the opportunity of deepening synergy across the strategic mineral resources full industry chain and consolidating the national resource security barrier to usher both parties' high-quality development into a new stage.
