Inner Dome Concrete Pouring of Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Unit 3 Completed
On September 30, as the last batch of concrete was successfully poured into the formwork, China Nuclear Industry 24 Construction Co., Ltd. successfully completed the concrete pouring of the inner dome of the reactor building of the Hualong One Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Unit 3. The achievement of this key milestone marks the full completion of the civil construction of the inner containment for this unit, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent prestressing construction of the containment and the installation of core nuclear equipment. As an important safety barrier of the Hualong One independent third-generation nuclear power technology, the inner dome is located at the top of the nuclear island, and its core function is to ensure the integrity and absolute leak-tightness of the reactor building and prevent the leakage of radioactive substances. Faced with nuclear construction technical challenges such as the complex curved surface structure of the dome and the high difficulty of high-altitude operations, the Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Project Department...

The first concrete pouring for the nuclear island of Unit 2 of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) Guangxi Bailong Nuclear Power Project was successfully completed.
The first concrete pouring for the nuclear island of Unit 2 of SPIC Guangxi Bailong Nuclear Power Project was completed at 16:07 on September 30, after 69 hours and 40 minutes of continuous work. A total of 6,732.5 cubic meters of concrete was used for this pouring, marking another important milestone for the project after the FCD achievement for the nuclear island of Unit 1. Phase I of the Bailong Nuclear Power Project plans to build two CAP1000 nuclear power units. These two units adopt independently designed and domestically manufactured Generation III passive nuclear power technology, with each unit having a capacity of up to 1.25 million kilowatts. At present, Unit 1 has entered the construction and installation stage, and the steel containment vessel bottom head, CA20, CV1R, CA01...

Concrete pouring completed for turbine deck of conventional island of Unit 2 at CGN Lufeng Nuclear Power Plant
At 12:30 on August 11, 2026, concrete pouring officially commenced for the turbine deck of the conventional island of Unit 2 at CGN Lufeng Nuclear Power Plant, and was successfully completed at 16:00 on August 13, after 51.5 hours, with a total of 2,685m³ of concrete poured. The turbine deck structure of the conventional island of Unit 2 measures 68.7m in length and 16m in width, with a top elevation of +8.43m, consisting of two longitudinal beams and six transverse beams. Owner-supplied items include 296 anchor bolts, 56 lifting columns, 28 anchor plates, and 18 oil pipe sleeves, among which 8 sets of large embedded parts weigh over 10t each. The turbine deck construction features complex structures, a large number of owner-supplied embedded parts, and high precision requirements. During the turbine deck construction, the project team fully drew on the experience feedback from the conventional island turbine deck of Unit 1...
