Rosatom announced on October 7, 2026 that at the construction site of the innovative BREST-OD-300 nuclear power unit in Seversk, Tomsk Oblast, a key milestone breakthrough has been achieved in the installation of core main equipment in the conventional island (turbine island) building, with two large moisture separator reheaters (MSR) successfully hoisted into their design-basis positions.
